Mind At Sea V1.01 Patch Notes
Hey all,
I really appreciate the great feedback that was given and the videos made. This helped me find some bugs that managed to go under the radar and things that I needed to add in. Here are the patch notes for the new update:
- Added estimated time to complete in the main menu fade in.
- Being chased outside the allowed navigation area would confuse the AI and cause a recurring number of events to happen. It looks like it is just standing in place forever. This would cause frame drops. There is now a check in place to ensure this no longer occurs and it will return to it's usual shenanigans.
- Made the check for a charged Hope's Blessing a bit more lenient and won't result in an infinitely charging Blessing.
- Added extra hints to areas that needed them as people were getting a little confused. Such as when charging up the first Hope's Blessing and what to do with it.
- Improved the way the Hope's Blooms deal with checking if the player has enough Blessings. Now it will mention if the player needs more Blessings if they do not have enough and it will remind more than once. If they have enough it will not mention any requirement and will go about it's usual business.
- Improved the check for the end sequence. Upon entering the final Bloom's check box it would start a timer that would check all the time until you completed the game. Now it only plays the timer if you have enough Blessings when entering the box. This should help performance.
- Added a flashing light to one of the dark caverns in the Floral Cave. This passage was difficult to spot before and left some players wandering around for ages. Should be easier to spot now.
- Made the water field in the center of the Floral Cave a bit more noticeable by improving the lighting there.
- Improved areas that required crouching to navigate. A lot of people were standing up when it looked like you could but were caught on the rocks. Now when it looks like you should be able to uncrouch, you can.
- Fixed up a few gaps in the caves towards the beginning of the game.
- Improved fps in the Narrow Water Field area. The lighting setup before was causing fps drops. This has now been improved.
- When respawning at a checkpoint the camera pan down will play every time. Before it would play once and every other time it would skip to the end of the animation. This would be jarring and seemed frozen for a second.
- Lowered the volume of the chase music slightly.

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know when I try the game, it crashes on launch. Tried re-intsalling, and no-go.
Hmm might be something with your antivirus. Does running the .exe as an administrator work? Also if that doesn't work, maybe try downloading as a .zip and open that.
